All and all, an entertaining read, and a snapshot of the comics industry in the late 80s'/early 90s (man oh man am I glad that TPBs are now standard for every new series...) that feels like it's only mildly fictionalized.The majority of the characters are unsympathetic, and two of them grab hold of the Idiot Ball and don't let go about halfway through the novel, but seeing them get what they deserve is entertaining.

I first fell in love with Robert Rodi’s early works in the 90s. Imagine my surprise and delight to be reacquainted some 30 years later! Compulsive reading.
Having worked in a comic book store it was fun to read about a fan and writer.. there interactions changed both of their lives I think for the better )
